MCM20 Portable Air Conditioning Unit Instructions

On the front of the unit, you will find 2 buttons, and 2 lights. The buttons operate the fans, and the cooling cycle. The lights indicate the power, and when the condensate tank is full of water.
Operation
To switch the air conditioning unit on, first turn on the fans. The power light should be on. To begin cooling, switch on the cooling cycle using the cooling button. There will be a time delay before the compressor switches on and the unit begins to cool. This is a safety feature, to protect the unit.
When the condensate tank fills up the warning light will show. The tank should be slid from the front of the unit, and emptied.
User Maintenance
The following items should be carried out at least on a weekly basis to ensure trouble free & optimum performance of the air conditioning unit.
- Remove tank from the side of the air conditioning unit and empty
- Unclip filter from back of unit and remove loose deposits with a vacuum cleaner or brush.
If at any time the unit is switched off, it may take up to 5 minutes before cooling is resumed.
Problem Solving and Trouble Shooting
Our terms and conditions require users to make themselves familiar with how to operate and troubleshoot basic problems before calling out an engineer. To keep our hire charges as low as possible you will be liable for a minimum £50 call out charge for unnecessary calls which could have been rectified by the user.
The unit must be on a flat, horizontal surface. Should any water drip from the unit- Switch the unit off, unplug, and drain the water from the condensate tank, as described in the User Maintenance. Check regularly to ensure that further leakage that could cause damage, does not occur.
